About Us
Meet Gus
Hi, I’m Gus (he/him), a registered psychologist and clinical psychology registrar. I provide therapy, coaching and consulting that support people to move towards what matters — whether that’s greater self-understanding, connection, calm or change.
I offer psychological support across a range of areas, including anxiety, life transitions, identity exploration, sexuality and gender diversity, burnout and workplace wellbeing. I also work with teams and leaders who are looking to create more connected, psychologically safe and values-led workplaces.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology (with Distinction) from Western Sydney University and have worked in both public and private settings, including King Street Psychology, The Albion Centre (NSW Health), Heads & Tails Clinical Psychology and the WSU Psychology Clinic. I currently work at the Westmead Hospital Gender Service (Sydney Children’s Hospital Network), supporting young people and their families navigating gender diversity and identity development.
Before becoming a psychologist, I spent over two decades in leadership and organisational consulting, including senior roles at McKinsey & Company and Westpac. That experience shaped my understanding of human systems — and the real-world pressures people face in high-stakes or high-responsibility roles. It also deepened my belief in the importance of kindness, reflection and the space to ask honest questions.

I created Light Blue Psychology to offer just that kind of space. A calm, inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds and identities can explore personal and professional change with respect and care. I work in English and Spanish, and welcome clients from LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
Whether you are seeking support as an individual, a professional or as part of a team, I bring warmth, clinical insight and lived experience to help you move forward in a way that feels right for you.
Light Blue Psychology provides services for clients aged 16 and over, and is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in an emergency or need urgent support, please contact 000 or present to your nearest hospital. You can also call Lifeline on 13 11 14.
