Light Blue Psychology is not a bulk-billing practice, so there will be an out-of-pocket cost for sessions. Fees vary depending on the type of session and duration.

Fees and Appointment Information

• Standard 50-minute session: $245
• With a referral and Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $96.65 per session (up to 10 sessions per calendar year).
• This brings the out-of-pocket cost to $148.35 per session.

For new clients, I often recommend starting with an in-person session to help us build connection and establish a shared understanding of your goals.

Payment Options

• Payment is made at the time of the appointment via Visa or Mastercard
• Cash payments are not accepted
• Some clients may be eligible for rebates through private health insurance (please check with your provider)

Booking Your First Session

To confirm your first appointment, a $100 advance booking fee is required. This will be deducted from the total cost of your initial session.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. This allows the time to be offered to someone else.

• Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice: 50% of the session fee
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or non-attendance: 100% of the session fee
• Please note: Medicare does not provide rebates for cancelled or missed sessions
